merry christmas from 1984!

it's christmas eve and i am watching Notting Hill with my bff, chris watson. actually, he is listening to/"reading" the third book of 'The Hunger Games' in one ear and watching this movie with me and enjoying a cup of chai. multi-tasking. it's just how we live now. and we love it!

so, i found this wicked good picture from 1984-ish:

that's jeehon in the ballet outfit. and my older brother is the strapping lad to the left. the weird looking one in the middle- that's my other brother. just kidding! that's me! and the tree isn't a funny homage to a charlie brown christmas or anything, it was just our christmas tree. we were such funny immigrants.

hope you are having a wonderful christmas eve with your loved ones, and an even more wonderful christmas with even more of your loved ones. yeah for love and yeah to the Father who shows us what love is. happy birthday Jesus!

"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." 1 John 4:9-11
